Aaliyah immortalized...

Still can't believe tomorrow will mark exactly 18 years since our beloved Aaliyah passed away. Earlier this week, her brother Rashad Haughton unveiled a wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas. I lowkey crushed on dude when she brought him up on stage at the VMAs and after he honoured her on the same stage two weeks prior to her passing. It's nice to see him all grown up. As for the statue, she was really beautiful and I don't think the statue did her much justice.

It's not as horrible as some of the ones I've seen, but they could have done better with it if I'm being totally honest. If she was still here, Aaliyah would never tell them to "Try Again" because she was far too humble.
