Tiana Benjamin QUITS Eastenders!

Tiana Benjamin has quit her role as Chelsea Fox in the UK's top TV show Eastenders and will leave the soap towards the end of the year. The 26-year-old actress has played Chelsea since 2006 and is leaving because she wants to try out new things. Bear in mind, Chelsea was NOT axed as opposed to the six who got the chop this week (which included her on screen sister Libby). The actress is leaving by her own accord. Her current storyline sees her stuck in a complicated love triangle.

When we first learned that Chelsea had hooked up with club boss Jack Branning, we knew it wasn't going to last. The 'Eastenders' lass was in distress when he got shot a couple of weeks ago. "I'm his girlfriend" she told the hospital in a distraught tone, while trying to gather up news of his condition over the phone. No dear, as his own sister harshly put it, you were nothing more to him than a quickie in the loo. He may have been happy to dip his shortbread biscuit stick into the coffee but that's as far as it went.

Actually, Mr Branning doesn't even look like the type of bloke who would actually settle down or pursue a long-term relationship with a sista, and judging by his past conquests, he seems to have a thing for blondes. In fact, now that Ronnie and Jack are engaged, and Chelsea is expecting Jack's baby, it's all bound to end in tears, yet again.
